DOMESTIC INSTITUTION TRANSCRIPTS

If you earned your degree from a U.S. institution, transcripts must be sent to us directly from the academic institution to be considered official. Emailed copies of official transcripts sent to us by you are not official documents. Final transcripts for degrees earned will include the name of your degree and the degree conferral date.

UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN - ANN ARBOR UNDERGRADUATE TRANSCRIPTS

If you have just completed or are about to complete your UM—Ann Arbor undergraduate degree, Ross Admissions will obtain your official transcript AFTER the university Registrar's Office confers your degree, which typically occurs in early June for students graduating in May. DO NOT send us your UM - Ann Arbor undergraduate degree transcript.



INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTION TRANSCRIPTS & DEGREE DOCUMENTS


Full-time MBA

World Education Services (WES) Credential Evaluation:

If you earned your degree from a non-U.S. institution, you must submit a World Education Services (WES) credential evaluation. Please refer to our WES website for additional requirements.


All academic records, including transcripts, semester mark sheets, and degree documents or diplomas, must be sent directly to WES. Please be sure to visit the WES Required Documents page to ensure that acceptable documentation is submitted.


One-Year Master's Programs (MAcc, MBAn, MM, MSCM)

World Education Services (WES) Credential Evaluation:


Application Requirement: If you earned or are earning your degree from a non-U.S. institution, you must submit a World Education Services (WES) credential evaluation with your applicationPlease refer to our WES website for additional requirements.


Enrollment Requirement: If you did not submit your official WES evaluation to the Ross School of Business, One Year Master’s Programs WES account at the time of application, order an official duplicate copy to be sent to our WES account.


Transcripts

If your degree was in progress at the time of application, arrange to have your academic institution send your final, official transcript, which must include degree conferral information, to our office by email (preferred) or in a sealed envelope. Note that if documents are not in English, they must be translated by a certified translator prior to being accepted.


Prerequisite Coursework

Official transcripts for prerequisite coursework should be sent to Ross Admissions by your institution. Contact the One-Year Master’s Program Office at RossOYMAdmissions@umich.edu with any questions about coursework that fulfills a prerequisite. 


Degree Documents (Diplomas):

If your degree was in progress at the time of application, arrange to have your academic institution send your official degree document to our office by email or in a sealed envelope. Note that if documents are not in English, they must be translated by a certified translator prior to being accepted. 


Executive MBA, Weekend MBA, Online MBA, Global MBA:

Transcripts:

For Ross programs that do not require a WES credential evaluation, arrange to have your academic institution send your official transcript to our office by email (preferred) or in a sealed envelope. If your academic institution issues only one set of official records, please contact our office by submitting a support ticket or replying to the enrollment requirement email you received, and we can make additional arrangements. Note that if documents are not in English, they must be translated by a certified translator prior to being accepted.


Degree Documents (Diplomas):

Test scores are official only if the testing agency has sent your test scores directly to the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor; a department code is not required. For agencies that require a score reporting code, please use 1839.
