Instructions to view your decision are emailed to the email address you entered on your application, and we encourage you to follow the emailed instructions as they are specific to you. Below are general instructions.
For Applicants New to the University
(Have not previously applied to UM)
1. Create a secure login using a UM Friend Account
Create your UM Friend Account using the email address used in your application for admission. Please note when setting up your Friend Account, you will receive a follow-up email asking you to validate personal information, including your UM ID number and your birthdate, in the following format: Month, Day, Year. If you have further questions regarding creating a UM Friend Account, please review our detailed instructions.
2. Log into Wolverine Access
After you have created your UM Friend Account, go to Wolverine Access to view your application decision.
- Click on the New & Prospective Student Business tile.
- Next, click on New & Prospective Student Center.
- Within the Student Center, click on the Application Status link located within the Admission section.
- The View Decision link will be available on the decision notification date posted on the program website or in an email sent by Ross Admissions notifying you that your decision is available for viewing.
For Applicants Who Are Current/Previous Students or Employees
1. Log into Wolverine Access using your existing UMICH uniqname (CAMPUS_ID).
- Click on the Student Business tile.
- Next, click on New & Prospective Student Center.
- Within the Student Center, click on the Application Status link located within the Admission section.
- The View Decision link will be available on the decision notification date posted on the program website or in an email sent by Ross Admissions notifying you that your decision is available for viewing.
